Donations

We really do appreciate any donations being made to our charity! Our aim is to reduce loneliness in the community and provide opportunities to SEND inidividuals, as well as elderly, that they wouldn't be able to experience without us.

All of our money goes into providing our dancers opportunities, equipment and events, so that we can improve their self-confidence and quality of life. We want to show the community and surrounding areas how amazing and talented our dancers are.

We are currently fundraising to take 5 of our SEND dance families on a fully adaptive holiday to Jersey. Here is what ADA means to a few of them.

Katie

For Katie there was not enough SEN friendly clubs to join, she needed somewhere safe and a no judgement zone for her quirks. When I came across an ADA post on Facebook I was over the moon, I emailed straight away and requested to sign her up. When we first started it was a brand-new class, all of the girls were shy, fast forward almost 2 years later and our girls were able to smash performances out throughout the summer 2024! especially in the rain, nothing ever holds them back and I’m thankful everyday for finding Adelaide. When Katie found out about the Jersey trip and realised, she would be going with her dance family she was excited, this trip would mean so much to her as she, gets to spend so much more time with her dance family, accessing different water activities that she would not be able to access anywhere else

Faith

ADA has changed our lives.

Faith has always loved music, so we spent a long time looking for and trialling different dance classes, but Faith'sabilities and her being a wheelchair user meant there was always a barrier, it was never accessible enough. Until we came along ADA the most laid back and fully inclusive dance class. Faith loved it from day one. She was very shy and reserved to start with but the confidence she has grown the last 2 years is phenomenal! This group is so much more than just dance its allowing Faith to feel included, gain fantastic friendships, gives her a safe space to be who she wants to be with no judgement, and move in ways that works for her.

Faith absolutely loves dancing with ADA!

It brings her so much joy, just seeing the smile on her face every lesson says it all.

Not only have I seen how much Faith has grown in confidence I can see it in all of the children attending ADA and the happiness it brings them all. It’s such an amazing thing to watch.

ADA hasn’t just impacted Faith's life it’s impacted our whole family. We have gained a whole new family within ADA!

When Adelaide told me about this trip to Jersey I was blown away! The amount of thought and effort that has been put into it to give our girls a trip of a life time is so special. This trip is something I wouldn’t ever be able to give Faith being a single mum and full-time carer. But it’s 100% something she deserves to experience.

It really does mean the world to us that Faith is being given this opportunity.

This trip is extremely special to faith as it will be her 1st ever time going on an aeroplane! And to experience activitiesthat we have only ever dreamt of!

When faith was told about the trip, she cried happy tears she was so emotional she feels so lucky and grateful to be receiving this trip. She has a count down on and cannot wait to be experiencing it with her ADA family!

Izzy

Finding ADA and Adelaide has been life changing for Izzy and us as a family. We spent a long time trying to find a SEN club or group that Izzy would enjoy andbe able to participate in. Then one day Adelaide literally chased me down at a fair (actually 3 fairs!) , that was almost 2 years ago now and I’m so glad she did. I never would have expected in that time to see such a huge change in my daughter, the growth in confidence and her LOVE of dancing and ability to do so. Izzy used to be so shy when she first started but Adelaide knew just how to make her smile. I only have to say Adelaide’s name now and Izzy gets so excited.

This dance group has became a wonderful supportive family to all those involved. Adelaide has so much passion for this group and it shows everytime she interacts with each dancer.

This opportunity to go on holiday with her friends and family means the world to her. To be included in ALL the activities and not sat watching on the sidelines makes a such a difference. Izzy doesn’t remember going on a plane when she was young so this will be an amazing adventure for her to experience once more.

As a SEN parent the idea of going on holiday can be scary especially when medical needs are involved. To know we will be with others who understand and I know my child is safe with, is a huge worry taken care of.

Ruby

When Ruby was a baby, her parents sere told she would never be able to walk, talk or do anything, but Ruby didn’t let this stop her!

Ruby is an absolute delight to be around and she loves music and singing. As a special needs TA and a carer to Ruby, when I saw the leaflet for a special needs dance class, I was absolutely thrilled, but also very apprehensive of how accessible it actually was! On arrival to our first dance session, when we met Adelaide, we knew it was completely different and it was just what Ruby needed!

Ruby has developed so much since starting with ADA, her confidence has flourished, her self esteem has improved, her social skills have developed and so much more! She is so happy just at the mention of dance and Adelaide and she has developed an unbeatable bond with Adelaide. Ruby can be challenging at times and Adelaide has accommodated to know Ruby and how to deal with her when these times occur.

When Ruby first found out about the holiday to Jersey, her words was ‘I’m freaking out’ as she was so excited to be a part of this journey and to be with her friends! Ruby hasn’t been on a plane for many years now and hasn’t had that experience to remember yet! She’s so excited for the trip and mentions it at least weekly and asks several questions about the holiday!

We cannot wait to access activities that Ruby would never have been able to do if it wasn’t for this holiday! But the main person in all of this our amazing leader Adelaide, who has planned every single minute of the trip for our amazing girls and we wouldn’t be where we are now without her!❤️
